SET aims to inspire, inform and share knowledge of Street Experiments as cities across the globe witness an increased need for innovative
use of public space and streets.
The S.E.T. project is the continuation and upgrade of the Transition Experiments Open Online Expert Tool (TEOOET), which was developed under the City Liveability by Redesign (CLEAR) EIT Urban Mobility project, offering a free, open-access and worldwide street experiments collection.
The S.E.T. platform offers a collection of Resources for implementing and supporting street experiments. As well as a special section of COVID-19 devoted to the best practices of street experiments that offered solutions and strategies for cities to respond to the current pandemic and a SET Guidelines Kit that provides insights and considerations on creating impactful street experiments with long-term effects.

CLEAR focuses on street experiments as a transformative tool to create more sustainable cities. As a result, CLEAR explored ways to make streets places for people, rather than just traffic channels. Several academic institutions, professionals (UNStudio), and the cities of Milan, Amsterdam, and Munich have participated in the CLEAR consortium, implementing, monitoring, and analyzing urban street experiments.
