During one month, eight participants parked their car outside of the city on a provided parking lot and received a free mobility package by the organizers and mobility partners which included public transport, sharing and rental services. In addition, a small street next to a park that has a capacity for four parking spaces was closed and in collaboration with the local residents and a design agency, a parklet-style prototype was developed to enable urban gardening, bicycle and scooter parking and stationary activities.
Purpose
To promote, integrate and test sustainable mobility (walking, cycling, micro-mobility, etc.), To recover public space by removing parking spots and changing parking regime. To make streets safer and to create space for children to play and raise awareness and discussion about public space. To improve liveability.
