Wanderbaumallee project improves the quality of sojourn in public space by placing a station with 10 mobile trees in "hand-cart" modules with in-built benches. Each station is placed in a neighborhood from four to five weeks and after that period of time the station is moved to another neighborhood to spread the "aha" moment, showing the local community another use of the street rather than parking by creating local meeting points providing some greenery and shadow.
To use trees as "door-opener" to establish a discussion about public space redistribution and repurposing parking away from the motto "we against the cars" and more in the direction "we in favor of a greener city".
